freaking

today i went to the dermatologist to get a refill on my doxycycline, and pretty recently i had gotten this weird rash on my stomach..so i showed it to her and apparently i have shingles. fucking wierd. it's like chicken pox gone awry basically. and it itches really strangely because the virus affects the nerve endings so it feels like youre trying to scratch something that is under your skin. it is starting to go away but jesus shingles isnt something you just let go, so she gave me this giant horsepill called valtrex to take over the next week. the thing is is valtrex is this herpes medication, but technically chicken pox is a type of herpes and since shingles is basically chicken pox, i end up getting herpes medication, yay. haha. so tonight i fucking took that giant horsepill, two ibuprofens for my godforsaken headache, and the adoxa. i felt like someone with aids or some chronic condition where they have to take a million pills all the time. sigh.
